The Victorian Energy Upgrades Program


A scheme launched in 2008, previously titled the VEET Scheme (Victorian Energy Efficiency Target) is now called the VEU Program and is Victoria’s Energy Upgrade Program.
This state-run scheme helps Victorian home and business owners take advantage of rebates and subsidies for energy efficiency upgrades.
By improving energy efficiency Victoria decreases it’s carbon footprint and increases carbon abatement.

The program is a voluntary, market-based program that offer access to discounted products to help make your home or business more energy efficient. This includes things like, showerheads, lighting, heating and cooling and hot waters systems.
The VEU program assist consumers to save on energy costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
